PRAYOG

‘PRAYOG@C-258’ is not only the Hindi language word of 'experiment' but also signifies the importance of the place which initiated an effective visual dialogue in order to increase public interaction and stimulate appreciation of Art. It is the idea of symbolism which is inspired by many elements from the folk traditions of Indian Art. India is a vast country and has got a variety of cultures. It has got a large number of folk metaphors and styles. Artists indulged in 'PRAYOG' seem to have derived many things from there, mixed them with the modern trend of art and prepared an original and creative masterpiece of their own. The remarkable factor in the exhibition ‘PRAYOG@C-258’ is variety in form and technique.
