You can join specialized courses once you complete Advanced Course at Kalawatika. If you already have taken classes and are aware of studio pottery, you also can join specialized courses.
Major Concepts/ Content
This short duration ceramic course has been designed to provide a studio-oriented experience with basic study and practice –
- Wheel Throwing Classes: To practice and develop your skills on the potter's wheel. You can develop individual style while learning to create large vessels, platters, altered forms, surfaces and lids.
- Mask and Mural Designing: Mask and Mural designing is a unique expression of art, ornament and architecture. Murals are made to transform the place into the showcase of beauty, inspiration, sanctuary, peace, and renewal. You can develop you skills in creating masks and murals experimenting with various form, designs, textures and mixed medium.
- Ceramic Sculpture: It is interesting to experiment with the flexibility of clay and making forms. At Kalawatika we teach on taking inspiration from nature and make inner connections with them for a more personalized style.

Studio Facilities for Ceramic Artists
Kalawatika offers studio facilities to ceramic artists and studio potters through various session modules. All material can be provided at the studio which will be charged separately or you can also bring your own material.
